I'd like to write an article about my Polish Life.
I live in Poland for about two and a half months to teach Japanese for from children to adults. I organize classes for several times in one week and get some salary. I have enough time except the classes, so I study Polish, English. I'm also looking for some volunteering connected with teaching Japanese.
I live in a dormitory for high school students and university students. I share the room with Indonesian guy. It's 240 PLN (=6000JPY) per month. Wow, it's very cheap!!
This is the picture of the room. it's very large and comfortable to stay. Polish accommodation has central heating so we can stay in the room with only T-shirt and short pants.
今回は、ポーランドでの生活の様子を書いてみます。
現在僕は、ポーランドに二ヶ月半ほど滞在して、日本語を教えています。いわゆる日本語教師に近いんですが、きちんとした資格もないので、試行錯誤の連続。
対象は子供から大人まで幅広く、人数は少ないですが、週に数回授業をして、日本語の面白さを知ってもらいながら、ひらがなやカタカナ、漢字もぼちぼち教えています。
それで、幾ばくかのお給料頂きながら生活しています。
その時間を差し引いても、一週間たっぷりと時間があるので、空いた時間はポーランド語や英語の勉強をしています。かつ、何らかの方法で日本語を教えるボランティアに関われないか、探してもいます。
現在は、こちらの学生寮（高校生・大学生向け）に住んでいます。インドネシア人とルームシェアしながら。で、値段はなんと、一ヶ月で240ズロチ（以下PLN）。日本円にすると、約6000円。日本では考えられない安さですね。
上の写真がその様子なんですが、とにかく広い。ポーランドの部屋にはセントラルヒーティングが備えられているので、室内はとても快適。シャツとハーパンだけで寝れます。室内の快適さは、日本のそれとは比べ物にならないくらいにいいです。
The price in Poland is far cheaper than that in Japan. For example, the bus ticket from Warsaw airport to Warsaw central station (about 30 minites) costs only 2.8 PLN( =about 70JPY). The cost of cheap hostel is around 45 PLN(=about 1250JPY). If you buy foods in supermarkets, you can buy enough amount and various foods within 30PLN(=about 750JPY). When I moved from Warsaw to the city I stay, it costed about only 50PLN (=about 1250JPY) with discount of under 26-year-old (26% discount).
Especially, I recommend eating Polish foods! It's very delicious and the taste is so mild for Japanese tongue.
Sometimes Japanese say foods in Europe don't suit their tongue (such as British or French), but I emphasis Polish foods are the except. That's one of the reason why I love Poland and visit three times.
ポーランドの物価は、概ね日本より抜群に安いです。例えば、ワルシャワ空港からワルシャワ中央駅（もしくは旧市街）までのバスのチケットは、片道30分程度で2.8PLN（約70円）、安宿の平均は約45PLN（約1250円）。スーパーで食材を買って、自炊をするのなら、30PLN（約750円）あれば豊富な食材を沢山の買い揃えることができます。
そして、ポーランド料理。これは本当におススメです。抜群に美味しくて、日本人の舌に合うマイルドさがある。しばしば、イギリス料理やフランス料理などのヨーロッパ料理は、日本人には合わない、と言われますが、ポーランド料理はその例外と言っていいでしょう。ポーランド料理の美味しさは、僕がポーランドが大好きな理由、そして三度もこの国を訪れた理由の一つであることは、間違いありません。
I would like to introduce some of the Polish cuisines.
As I introduced above, there are many delicious foods in Poland! I'd like to introduce much more when I buy or cook.

I would like to introduce some of the Polish cuisines.
This is kotlet, or Polish cutlets. The taste is simple and delicious.
これは、ポーランド風トンカツ。日本のと違って、少ない油でカリッと焼くので、風味が違います。衣はありませんが、ジューシーで食欲をそそります。
This is Żurek. This is made from fermented rye. It contains sausage, garlic, carrots and potatoes in the photo. The typical ingredients are sausage and boiled egg. It's sour, but it's so delicious that I can eat twice or three times in one meal.
これはジューレック。「ポーランド風味噌汁」とも呼ばれているようですが、発酵させたライ麦から作ります。写真のものにはソーセージ、ニンニク、人参、それにジャガイモが入っています。典型的なのは、ソーセージとゆで卵が入ったもの。ちょっぴり酸味がありますが、とても美味しいです。僕なら、一回の食事で二回か三回はおかわりできます。
The dumplings in the right side of plate is Pierogi, or Polish dumplings. There are many varieties of contains such as potatoes, meets, vegetables. I think there are many more.
I want to introduce the left side one, but I don't know what it is. I bought it as a kind of potato, but it was different. Sorry...
次の写真で、右側にあるのが「ピエロギ」、もしくは「ポーランド風餃子」。「餃子」と言っても、水でゆがくので、水餃子に近い食べ物だと思って下さい。
餃子の中身は様々で、じゃがいも、肉、野菜。他にもあると思います。
残念ながら、左側の食べ物は何かよく分かってません。ジャガイモだと思って買ったら、違いました。
というわけで、上で述べたように、ポーランド料理には美味しいものが沢山あります。機会があれば、更に紹介していこうと思います。
